Tooth Color Filings

Direct restoration: Resin composite (white) fillings: Tooth-colored filling is used in small to mid-sized restorations. It can be used on front and back teeth. Unlike silver (metal) fillings, resin composite fillings don’t expand and contract so they do not cause teeth to fracture over time. On the other hand, it bonds and strengthens the teeth. More natural tooth structure can be preserved when preparing for filling than dealing with silver filling. If the restorations are too large then indirect restorations such as Inlays, onlays or crowns are recommended.
